Our farm, Two Roots, includes a vineyard, an alpaca ranch and a fiber processing mill. The name "Two Roots" was derived from our diverse backgrounds of the deep south and way up north (Canada). We purchased the property in 2013 as a retirement (which likely will never happen) location and have planted vines, built barns and fences, raised numerous very spoiled alpacas, and most recently purchased and installed a fiber processing mill.
The alpacas, or long necked goats as our neighbors refer to them, are raised primarily for their fiber which makes lovely all natural products. With the addition of the fiber processing mill we'll be providing products from farm to you.
The vineyard is a pure agricultural endeaver. Our Riesling and Chambourcin grapes are sold to local wineries.
